To Everyone Who Brought the Moment

I would like to acknowledge the people in my life who brought every experience to the window of my soul.

Joy.
Memory.
Pain.
Ascension codes carried in the rain.

Thank you.

Please know that it was never you who placed tears in my eyes, pain in my wandering, or warmth in my heart.

It was me the entire time.
You may have brought the moment.
You may have carried the lesson.
You may have opened the door, closed it, stood beside me, left me, loved me, challenged me, wounded me, forgiven me, or simply crossed my path at the exact moment life required.

But what I made of that experience was mine.

The meaning was mine.
The grief was mine.
The love was mine.
The healing was mine.
And the decision of what would govern me was always mine.
I have always been the architect of my dominion and the decider of my sovereignty.

Sometimes I simply forgot.

Sometimes fear convinced me otherwise.
Sometimes pain made me believe another person held the keys.
Sometimes grief made me mistake loss for the destruction of self.
Sometimes love made me surrender territory that was never anyone else’s to govern.

But the authority was always there, waiting to be reclaimed.

What I Wish for You

To every person who has touched my life, I wish for you the strength to reclaim yours.

I wish for you the ability to recognize your own value without requiring the world to confirm it.
I wish for you the courage to love deeply without surrendering yourself in the process.
I wish for you the faculty to remain indifferent when indifference is required—not cold, not absent, but uncommandeered by what does not deserve authority over your peace.
I wish for you the ability to forgive without confusing forgiveness with obligation.
I wish for you the discernment to know what belongs in your life, what has completed its purpose, and what must be released.
And I wish for you the fire to forge alignment and cohesion into your own edict.
Let your word carry weight.
Let your boundaries mean something.
Let your compassion remain governed by discernment.
Let your actions become evidence.
Let that evidence become trust.
Let that trust become coherence.
And let that coherence become dominion.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, because without an example there is no occasion for the people we love to rise to.

Become what you would hope they discover in themselves.
Demonstrate the courage you hope they inherit.
Practice the honesty you hope they return to you.
Honor the boundaries you hope they learn to establish.
Live your doctrine before asking anyone else to understand it.

I will always be here until I am not.

And when I am no longer here, I hope something of what I learned remains useful to those I loved, those I crossed paths with, and those I may never meet.

With love, humility, and gratitude.

May God bless you with abundance of mind, clarity of discernment, strength of spirit, and the faculties of freedom.
